[ Installation of Talend Open Studio Data Integration ] In this part, I will show you where to download Talend Open Studio for Data Integration and how to install it on the Windows and Ubuntu operating systems.
Installation of Talend Open Studio Data Integration on Windows
1. Download TOS tool
The tool can be downloaded for free on the Talend website at the following link:
https://www.talend.com/download/
Please remember to download the Talend Open Studio for Data Integration tool (you will also find the licensed version of Talend Data Integration on the same page).

Then, select options for Windows by clicking Windows Download:

The TOS package should be downloaded automatically.
2. Run the installer
Some time ago, Talend provided open-source tools as ZIP packages – so if you come across such a version, remember to unpack it in the directory where you want to store the TOS tool. During downloading the TOS Data Integration 7.2.1 version. for Windows, you will automatically download a file with the .EXE extension. I always run files with this extension in administrator mode (Run as administrator).
In the following window, select the directory where you want to install your tool: (Installation of Talend Open Studio Data Integration)

I install my tool in the Talend_Tutorial directory on drive C. After setting the appropriate directory, select Install.
After completing the installation, close the window – Close:

3.Run TOS (Installation of Talend Open Studio Data Integration)
In the directory which you chose (for me Talend_Tutorial), Talend installed all necessary files. Run the .exe file (TOS_DI-win-x86_64.exe for me) and then accept the license terms:

In the next step, TOS will ask if you want to create a new project, import an existing one or upload a DEMO project. We will create a new project called Tutorial:

Finish the process by selecting Finish. Your new tool should greet you with the following pop-up:

Install Talend Open Studio on Ubuntu
Download TOS tool
Similarly to installation on Windows, download the installation package from the following page:
https://www.talend.com/download/

Then scroll down the mouse cursor until you find the tab dedicated to the remaining version of TOS DI. Choose Other Releases:

In the next step, select the version of the tool you are interested in the Ubuntu version (for me 7.2.1) and download it by clicking US and Europe:

After the download is complete, extract the contents of the ZIP directory, and then open Terminal in it. Install Talend Open Studio and Run the TOS_DI-linux-gtk-x86.sh file using the following command:
./TOS_DI-linux-gtk-x86.sh
